St. Luke’s Surgery Center

For this new one-story ambulatory surgery center, Cushing Terrell worked closely with the developer, Gardner Company, and St. Luke’s Magic Valley to overcome the logistical challenges of placing the building within a busy, existing campus. The design of the building utilized contextual building materials such as brick, EIFS, and glass, serving to seamlessly integrate the building’s aesthetic with the campus’s. The new ambulatory surgery center includes five operating rooms and 19 pre-/post-op beds while a new central supply and sterilization unit was incorporated.
