Project Overview:

Amsterdam Village is a 325-acre green community located 16 miles west of Bozeman, Montana and between the communities of Churchill and Amsterdam.

A mixed-use/ mixed-income development, the community contains home-sites of varying sizes, a small commercial town center, open spaces and trails, and a working organic farm. The breathtaking views from the plateau on which the Village is built include 360 degree views of the Tobacco Root Mountains, the Spanish Peaks of the Madison Range, and the Bridger and Gallatin Mountain Ranges.

Amsterdam Village embraces green building principles and sustainable living. The community design and building covenants require and encourage sustainable construction utilizing green building products, conservation of resources, and renewable energy sources. Amsterdam Village is a community that 'lives lighter!'

Each home and commercial structure at Amsterdam Village has a requirement of using a minimum amount of renewable energy in the heating, cooling, and powering of their homes or businesses. This requirement includes the incorporation of one or more of the following renewable energy methods
- Active Solar Panels
- Roof Shingle Solar Collection
- Residential Wind Power
- Evacuated Tube Solar Heating
- Geothermal Energy.

Additionally, all homeowners are encouraged to consider passive solar designs when planning their homes and to utilize high efficiency appliances and lighting.
