Full care approach - Multi-disciplined CTA helps create multi-use hospital. This 25 bed, full service replacement hospital was designed for end user comfort and building systems efficiencies. Use of regionally available materials and an efficient heat pump mechanical system coupled with a wood fired pellet boiler were some of the sustainable strategies implemented. The building was designed with flexibility and expandability in mind. Spaces include a full diagnostic laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, emergency dept, birthing suite, surgery with two operating rooms, respiratory therapy, and food services. Efficiently laid out, this facility will provide ease of movement of patients and staff today and into the future.
