We love Billings!

With more than 110 staff in 15+ disciplines, Billings is CTA’s largest office – and its oldest, originally opened in 1938 – but its size belies a team that’s one big family. We love to support the local community by volunteering at Partners in Education, United Way, Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Habitat for Humanity, and Big Brothers Big Sisters, just to name a few.

We take great pride in helping pioneer Billings. Almost 15 years ago, CTA rehabilitated an abandoned yet iconic 1920s warehouse — accommodating our growing staff while supporting ongoing Billings Historic District revitalization efforts. Our downtown space is an award-winning landmark epitomizing both high design and sustainability.

In addition to a 13 kW photovoltaic array, there’s also a green roof deck, replete with vegetation, outdoor seating, and a barbecue. The basement’s ping pong table spurs competitive lunch hours and our main level meeting spaces host bimonthly community “Art Walks,” showcasing local artists.

CTA designed the nearby Billings Transit Center, the first LEED Platinum-certified facility in Montana, and Minor League Baseball’s Dehler Park, winner of an annual Best of the Ballparks vote. We are lucky to be within a stone’s throw of a vibrant downtown featuring breweries galore, eateries, coffee shops, and art galleries.
